Core SWX announces Power Management Control plate for the Sony Burano/Venice - Newsshooter

With the Sony BURANO inching closer to release Core SWX has some power solutions ready to go, including the Power Management Control (PMC) Plate, I/O Module for the PMC Plate, and the PMC Plate with I/O Module Bundle.

The Core SWX Power Management Control plate for the Sony Burano/Venice is designed for a seamless adaptation and expanded power options. The plate features two P-Taps, USBCPD, and Hirose 4-pin 12V outputs for comprehensive connectivity. A DC 11-17v 4p XLR input allows for hotswap capability, ensuring uninterrupted power transitions. An on-board color display shows key voltage and battery percentage details, intelligently adapting to smart battery packs. It retails for $899.00 USD and is available in V-mount and G-mount.

The I/O breakout module is a powerful extension designed to seamlessly integrate with the Power Management Control box for Sony Burano and Venice cameras. It enhances the camera setup by providing additional power outputs, ensuring a comprehensive and efficient power distribution solution. It offers two 2-pin 12V, 3Amp outputs and two 3-pin 24V, 3Amp outputs, catering to the diverse requirements of professional filmmakers on set. It retails for $349.00 USD.

The Sony Burano Power Management System, combines the Power Management Control plate and the I/O Module for power distribution and control. Ergonomically designed for side mounting in alignment with the native I/O, the module offers enhanced control through loop-thru and R/S start-stop functions on the 3-pin 24V connections. The ARRI-style anti-twist 1/4-20 mount ensures compatibility with existing BURANO top plates, while the optional extension cable provides flexibility in module placement on the camera rig. It retails for $1149.00 USD.
