Prairie Arts Center (416 N. Jeffers) — Nebraskaland Days Competitive Art Show. The center is open Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Free admission.

Golden Ticket Cinemas, District 177 Mall (1000 S. Dewey) – Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3, Fast X, About My Father, The Little Mermaid, The Machine, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse, The Boogeyman, The Land Before Time and Transformers: Rise of the Beasts. Subject to change.

Front & Cottonwood — Big Boy No. 4014 Stop. The world's largest steam locomotive stops in North Platte enroute to Omaha for the College World Series. Estimated arrival: 4:45 p.m.

North Platte High Performing Arts Center (1220 W. 2nd) — Miss Nebraska Pageant. Opening night with entertainment by Miss Nebraska 2022 Steffany Lien. Tickets at missnebraska.org/competition. 6:30-9 p.m.

Front & Cottonwood — Big Boy No. 4014 Stop. The world's largest steam locomotive stops in North Platte en route to Omaha for the College World Series. Lays over all day.

Gary's Super Foods — L2 for Kids fundraiser with pork and brisket meals, ribs and bulk meat packages for sale. 11 a.m.-6 p.m.

Fox Theater (5th & Bailey) — Movies at the Fox: 42. $5. Two showings. 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

North Platte High Performing Arts Center (1220 W. 2nd) — Night two of Miss Nebraska pageant. 6:30-9 p.m.
