Foot Locker and Champs Sports are teaming up with ASICS and BLEACH for an exclusive sneaker collection. This limited-edition release celebrates the 20th anniversary of the BLEACH anime. The collection will launch at New York Comic Con and includes two special models: the ASICS GT-2160 and the GEL-NYC. Each sneaker draws inspiration from iconic BLEACH characters, Ichigo Kurosaki and Renji Abarai.

The ASICS GT-2160 pays tribute to Ichigo Kurosaki, the main protagonist of BLEACH. The design reflects Ichigo’s Shinigami attire, with black, white, orange, and red accents. Japanese characters of Ichigo’s name and his Hollow mask skull logo add more personalized touches. These elements create a sneaker that captures Ichigo’s powerful presence in the anime.

The ASICS GEL-NYC, on the other hand, honors Renji Abarai, another key figure in the series. It features a bold red and black color scheme, a nod to Renji’s vibrant red hair and Shinigami uniform. The sneaker also incorporates symbols from the 6th Division, where Renji serves as a lieutenant. These details make the shoe a perfect homage to Renji’s character.

This special BLEACH x ASICS collection is set to release in Holiday 2024. Fans can find the collection exclusively at Foot Locker and Champs Sports.
